Christmas Trees - Choose and cut your own tree

Closed for the 2023 Season

Due to the increased demand for Christmas trees over the last several years, we will not have an adequate supply to be able to open the farm for choose and cut this year. This was a very difficult decision to make, knowing that we will disappoint many loyal customers. We do not have contact information for everyone that has visited the farm, so we would appreciate any help in spreading the word. Please continue to monitor this website for any updates for 2024 and beyond.

The Scotch Pine has medium length (approximately 1¾”) deep green somewhat stiff needles. When properly watered, needle retention is very good. Branches are moderately sturdy and when routinely sheared tightly the foliage can become rather dense, possibly making it difficult to squeeze in ornaments. The tree has a classic conical shape.

The White Pine is very similar to the Scotch Pine, with slightly paler green and softer needles, giving the tree an almost delicate look. Branches will support fewer and smaller decorations as compared to Scotch Pine.

Spruce

  • $8.00/foot

The Concolor Fir has long (approximately 2½”) soft silver blue needles. When properly watered, needle retention is excellent. Branches tend to be more flexible and when routinely sheared the foliage can become rather dense. The tree has a generally broad profile and has a very pleasing citrusy aroma.

    Fraser & Balsam Fir

    $9.00/foot

The Fraser Fir has short (approximately 1”) shiny dark green needles with silvery undersides. When properly watered, needle retention is excellent. Branches are sturdy, upturned slightly, and spaced in a way that makes the tree easier to decorate than many others and perfect for showcasing ornaments. The tree’s profile is generally slender.

The Balsam Fir is very similar to the Fraser Fir, with slightly paler green needles and more flexible branches. It is more aromatic as well, and maintains its very pleasant fragrance throughout the Christmas season.
